B-17G Flying Fortress ARF

A 1/10 semi-scale model of the world-famous WWII bomber icon, the B-17G Flying Fortress. The most recognizable of the American 4-engine bombers from WWII, the B-17 was the backbone of the US Air offense serving in every combat zone with over 12,700 units built when production ended in May 1945. Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby is one of the few remaining B-17Gs that were in combat during WW II.
This highly detailed 1/10th scale replica of the B-17G features a fuselage with an internal structure of ply formers and carbon fiber longerons, with the outer skin being moulded from tough ABS plastic. Wings and tail surfaces are all built up and sheeted, using laser cut ribs for accuracy, prior to being sheeted with best-quality balsa, following which they are covered in film and final paint finish is applied.
Winner of Several Awards from RCX tradeshow, 1/8th Airforce, and Scale Squadron of Southern California, the ASM B-17G Flying Fortress is a model that you'll be proud to own. It is practical to operate (with its easy-access/removable nacelles, 2 piece stab, 3 piece wing, and 2 piece fuselage), exciting to fly, and a worthy scale aircraft aviation enthusiasts everywhere will appreciate and respect. We are always more than happy to answer any questions you have, so please feel free to call or email.
