Winner of the 2004 Arizona Jet Rally's award for Best Performance (EDF), the Jet Hangar International F4D Skyray is a true winner at any flying site. The Skyray's distinctive 50-degree sweptback wings with rounded tips give it a command of presence in the sky; its delta wing makes it extremely stable. Designed for the Wemotec Minifan 480 (69mm) and high power electric motors and speed controllers, this 1/14 scale F4D-1 Skyray model can be replicated in many colorful paint schemes. The aircraft's simplicity makes it quick to build and easy to fly. Maximum performance is achieved by using our 7500 mAh Falcon lithium polymer battery. The lightweight epoxy fuselage has molded panel lines, a high-tech inlet system for maximum efficiency, laser cut balsa and plywood (complete parts set including parts for built up wing and dorsal including sheeting, fuselage bulkheads, and mounts for retracts), full-size CAD drawings, clear canopy, vacuum-form arrestor hook housing, and step-by-step instructions. The wings and dorsal are built-up to assist in maintaining a lighter wing loading. The kit is designed for use with mini-retracts but can be bungee launched if so desired. Five channels required. We have begun shipping this kit and are filling orders on a first come, first served basis starting with all pre-orders. We are always more than happy to answer
any questions you have, so please feel free to call or email.
